A Luxe Staycation at 'Ramside Hall Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort'

Located in Durham, just a short car journey from the city center, Ramside Hall Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort is a must-visit for any luxury spa lovers or those in need of some rest and relaxation. A staycation there is a wonderful way to unwind, whilst you enjoy some of the North East's top tier lifestyle facilities.

We stayed for a couple of nights and of course enjoyed taking a swim in their 25m swimming pool, which is warmed so it's immediately a comfortable swimming experience with plenty of space for everyone too, so you can do lengths without interruption. The hot tub offers a wonderfully relaxing experience amongst the bubbles and the aromatherapy steam room with atmospheric blue light is also a fantastic way too ease tired muscles and just generally relax, perfect after a workout. I love the sauna and Ramside Hall as it's got a spacious feel to it, whilst also having glass walls on 3 sides allowing you to look over the rest of the spa whilst you relax and let the tensions melt away.

With spa day packages you also get access to the Spa Garden and the hydrotherapy pool - more bubbles await!
What's also great is that the pool area stays open late so Twilight Spa packages are also options, perfect for after work or for a slightly different, unique and ambient experience. You can check out all of their current spa day packages here.
Ramside Hall is currently undergoing a lot of development to their already popular golf course to make a driving range and they also recently opened a brand new restaurant to offer more dining options to visitors and hotel guests, in addition to Fusion, their pan-Asian restaurant, The Rib Room and The Club House. The newly opened Charcoa restaurant at Ramside Hall offers a wide array of dishes which are perfect for lunch with a carvery option available, as well as light bites, hot sandwiches and stone baked pizza being some of the dishes on their current menu. We visited Fusion and it was very authentic and oh so relaxing, with Zen music playing which helps continue the spa atmosphere into the dining area.
