An Evening Of Lake District Dining at 'Zeffirellis', Ambleside

Situated in the heart of Ambleside in the Lake District is Zeffirellis, a restaurant, live jazz venue and cinema hybrid, that has luxury dining at its heart, and the most incredible, warm, inviting, chic and sophisticated ambiance. With beautiful mood lighting, an indoor water feature wall decor which always grabs attention and of course great music, this is a restaurant you'll want to visit next time you're in the Lakes.

Hosting live jazz music is one of the distinguishing things about this venue and on September 4th, Ambleside Days which is a contemporary jazz festival which is held in Zeffirellis auditorium for four days will be taking place. You can read more about this and book tickets to attend here.
The mains at Zeffirellis are excellent and there's a wide variety of different dishes to choose from. My boyfriend and I both selected the lentil ragu which was so good, it's really authentic in taste and feels homemade. Definitely a brilliant option if you're vegetarian too.
For dessert I got a sticky toffee pudding because it is one of my go-to desserts when I am out, and this one was amazing! My boyfriend chose the dark chocolate and olive oil sorbet. You can scope out the menu on their website here.
