Bilgi Bakes | The Best Lotus Biscoff Brownies


Hello everyone and a very warm welcome to today's blog feature! Today's post is a baking post which I feel for Autumn is an absolute must, as there really are few things quite so cosy as home making, wouldn't you agree?! One of my most recent bakes was there rather decadent and oh so more-ish Lotus Biscoff Brownies. So yummy, you'll have sorted your 11am snack out for a few days (if they last that long!). I've also included the recipe just in case you do decide to give them a whirl. Hope you enjoy!

What You Need
1 x 100g of milk chocolate (I used a bar of Cadbury's Dairy Milk)
200g of butter
200g of sugar (i used a mix of soft brown sugar and golden sugar)
100g of milk chocolate chips
3 x free range or organic eggs
50g of cocoa powder
125g of plain flour
Lotus biscoff spread (you can add as much as you like!)
Lotus biscuits
a pinch of salt

How To
1. Start by preheating the oven to 170 degrees centigrade.

2. melt the chocolate and butter together and combine.

3. In a separate bowl, mix the sugar and eggs. I whisked them for extra lightness.

4. stir in the melted chocolate and butter, add in the flour and cocoa gradually, along with the choc chips and salt.

5. Pour into a lined baking tray and then spoon on tea spoons of Lotus biscoff spread.

6. After the brownies have been baking for 15mins, you can take them out and add on Lotus biscuits for the last 5-10 mins of the baking process.

7. Serve warm with a cup of tea and enjoy!
