Christmas is coming and I couldn't be happier about it! The festive season is a perfect opportunity to be at home with family and friends and immerse yourself fully in all that feels cosy, homely and cinnamon spiced! *Queue the warmed mince pies, mulled wine and cheeseboards (I can hardly wait!)*.
For me personally, a big part of feeling festive and being immersed in the Christmas feeling has to do with doing things that put me on the 'Christmas path' so to speak. You can't feel festive without doing something different that is specifically with the intention of summoning that festive cheer you know! If you are a regular reader of Coconut Couture, then you'll know how much I adore candles as a staple piece of interior décor and as the ultimate room-mood-ambiance-setter. Scent is the closest sense linked to memory so to conjure up happy nostalgia of Christmas in years gone by, homely and familiar fragrance is a great place to start.

The Fragrance of Christmas
Winter Thyme is a quintessentially festive aroma. It is herbal, aromatic with uplifting notes of rosemary, thyme and earthy winter wood notes which make you think of crisp winter afternoon walks in the countryside. Delightful!
These candles will look beautiful on a festive table or windowsill. They will give off a fabulous, golden glowing light that warms an entire room so if it's a magical positive atmosphere that you're looking to create, this is a simple and effective way to so just that. I also think that if you know a candle lover and are thinking about what to get them this year, them these candles would be the ultimate home décor treat. If they have an eye for design and love the Hygge vibe as well, I can think of nothing better!
