The Dress Edit: Floral Fusion Look Book

Spring is well and truly in the air. We've cast aside the multi-layered duffle coats and knitted jumpers and it's back to tea dresses and light cottons as we celebrate the much needed return of the sunshine. There are so many more outfit possibilities in spring as you don't have to shroud your outfit with a long coat and wrap yourself in a scarf and hat. I've been loving tea dresses as of late and this post focuses on some of my favourites for SS18. Whatever you're doing throughout April, hopping into one of these just makes you feel more spring-like and ready for the day. I have been really enjoying floral prints so far this season - I mean it's a classic and always going to be in fashion for this time of year, plus there are so many takes on this classic print that you really are spoilt for choice. Some, like this black and red floral dress from Topshop have a vintage feel or 'vibe' to them which I like. It can easily be dressed both up with gold accessories and a pop of bright coral lipstick or down with a messy bun and a vintage denim jacket. Versatile pieces that can be styled differently are my favourites and these dresses are definitely hitting the mark to be some of my wardrobe staples this year.

If you like extra 'frillyness', then this black and cream 'flower-ful' dress is the one. With floaty 3/4 length sleeves and a sophisticated, sleek neckline, it's perfect for both day and evening wear.

Quiz clothing currently have a great range of summer dresses in which are perfect for the season. Ideal for taking on holiday too, they can even be worn with trainers or sandals for a dressy yet casual feel, necessary on days when you know you're going to be doing some all important sight seeing and need to be able to walk easily! (No to high heels on these days for sure!)

This final dress is a wrap dress and is another which I am loving this spring. They're honestly a perfect choice for a classy look with oodles of versatility and wearability. What are some of your personal favourite SS18 pieces and how are you styling them? Have you started getting your holiday wardrobe in order yet? Bilgi  x

  2. Great post full of useful tips! My site is fairly new and I am also having a hard time getting my readers to leave comments. Analytics shows they are coming to the site but I have a feeling “nobody wants to be first”.
