'In Your Dreams' Midnight Moon Halloween Makeup Look

 

Today I am sharing a beauty tutorial with you but it's with a lil' sparkly twist. So Halloween is just around the corner and as we all know, Halloween is a the perfect opportunity to bedazzle ourselves with gems jewels and all kinds of wonderful sparkly goodness. This Autumn I have been lucky enough to be able to collaborate with one of my all time favourite glitter and gems companies 'In Your Dreams', to create my take on a glam jewel Halloween makeup look using their oh-so mystical 'Midnight Moon' face gems which can be applied to create a whole host of different glam and glitzy styles. On this occasion I thought using these gems to create a Moon Child or Mystical Cat (with the addition of some ears if you can get some!) Halloween look would be fun and funky, so that's exactly what I have gone ahead and done! I know not everybody likes to go for a 'scary' kind of Halloween makeup look so this is for those of you who prefer a more mystical-ethereal vibe.
 

 

 

I was sent a lovely selection of products to create this look - in addition to the Midnight Moon Face gems I received, I also got some iridescent Opalina Cosmetic Glitter and the In Your Dreams Glitter Beauty Balm which you can use to apply it with. This is also enriched with skin friendly Jojoba oil, Shea butter, vitamin E, Sunflower and Safflower seed oils, so is hydrating as well as being the perfect primer for glitter application - win win!

 

The back of the gems has a guide as to where you can apply the gems if you're looking for a bit of inspiration, or you can be a free spirit and apply them wherever, however you would like to. I think the crescent moon is a focal piece of this gem look and having a moon on your forehead seems to be quite the go to Halloween trend this year, so I opted for this and then continued with the gem decoration above my brows, forehead and just below my eyes. I used the Opalina glitter and glitter primer on my decolage and shoulders as I went for an off the shoulder top so adding a bit of glitz here just seemed right to me!
