A Taste of Paradise in Paradise

This year has been jam-packed one so far. Not only am I officially 2/3 through my degree (eeek, is that the world of work I see before me?), the summer months have brought me my first holidays abroad. I have ventured across the globe to Turkey twice so far this summer and both times, been greeted by Mediterranean sunshine which has helped me thaw out a bit from the cold of England. I've only been back 2 days now (yesterday I got called straight into work which was very tiring!) and I am already missing the sun on my face, the natural salt spray in my hair (very texturizing!) and the tropical banana scent of sun cream. Anyone for another beach holiday, like, right now please?...

I was staying in Gumbet, which is Southern Turkey. Here I am at Bitez beach which we took a taxi to for a relaxing afternoon by the sea.

Originally a fishing village, Bitez has a lovely harbour and restaurant views across the nearby mountains.

What I'm missing already about being on holiday is waking up in the morning and having a tropical breakfast in my bikini on the balcony, watching the sunrise. It beats waking upto an alarm, rain and toast that's for sure!

By the bar on the morning before all the other sunbathers have arisen.

I've decided I'll do a series of holiday posts this week, as I have so many holiday snaps I want to share with you all, as well as because I want to stay in holiday-mode for as long as possible now that I am back! I'm also already thinking about where I might fancy going to next. If you've been anywhere nice, let me know.
