I always love trying out wonderful new skincare products and sharing what I think about them, and today I am bringing you an exclusive feature purely on the amazing ARK Skincare. If you haven't already heard of ARK Skincare, let me tell you a lil' bit about them, as I am sure that they are going to become one of your favourite natural skincare brands as well!
A Bit About ARK Skincare
So, if you were wondering what ARK Skincare is all about, let me enlighten you! They are a conscious brand who are vegan and cruelty-free, which is something that is really important to me personally. I always love to promote brands and companies who have a kind ethos and are mindful of the world in which we live, and ARK Skincare certainly are. What a perfect thing, as we all want to look our best as it does in turn help you to feel tip top as well. They believe that beautiful skin is completely achievable at any and every age, so there are products in their collection which are specifically created for different age groups, in order to provide skin at different life stages with all the external nutrition and moisture that it requires.
The Product Lines
ARK has 3 skincare lines which are Protect for Teens and 20s, Defend for 30s and 40s and Defy for those over 50.
Each range is supported by 'skinperfectors' (a collection of highly effective targeted treatment products) and 'skinessential' which is a family of treatment products that support all skin types and are suitable for all ages as well.
The products which I received are such a great variety, so trying these out will be a skincare voyage of discovery, I can already tell! I started by trying out the ARK Skincare skinessential SPF30 primer which is formulated for all ages. This went onto the skin beautifully and was super easily absorbed. I had been searching for a new daily SPF product for months and this is literally exactly what I wanted to add to my skincare routine, as I know it's protecting my skin from any harmful UVA and UVB rays, maintaining its youthfulness and overall health as well. Premature ageing is inevitable if you don't use the right broad spectrum sun protection on your skin so definitely give this product a try if you are looking to add a SPF into your skincare. This can be used as a daily moisturiser or as a primer after your moisturiser if your skin needs an added moisture boost before adding your sun protection. This product was also a Winner in the Beauty Shortlist Awards this year!

At night time, I often think you can really pack in some skin moisturising. For this very purpose, I will be trying out the agedefend regenerating night treatment. It's actually formulated for skin which is in its 30s and 40s so it is formulated with active ingredients which aid the natural repair process that occurs when we sleep. It is antioxidants in it which stabilise and support the skin and fatty acids which nourish and hydrate. This relieves dryness and improves the skin's elasticity. This was also a Beauty Shortlist Award winner so it is highly esteemed and delivers on its promises.

For skin which is in its teens and 20s, let me show you some hero products that you'll want to try out asap! To start with, cleaning with the ARK Skincare age protect skin clear cleanser is great as not only is it gently effective, it's also a soap-free cleanser. This means that the skin is cleansed without its natural moisture balance being completely stripped away, leaving it feeling over sensitive and irritated, like soaps sometimes can. It has soothing oat amino acids in it, which help to eliminate sebum and any debris from the skin. Additionally, it also contains watercress, nettle and horsetail to balance the skin's moisture levels, eliminate excess shine and help reduce the appearance of blemishes. To moisturise the skin, ARK Skincare has different steps that you can follow for maximum skin benefits. They suggest a serum before your desired moisturiser as this additional step can really help to combat some of your skin's issues and can be perfectly targeted to meet your skin's needs. The skinperfector clearing serum (£45.00) is ideal for any age and is particularly good for refining the pores and helping to clear congested skin, by banishing pesky bacteria and tightening the pores. It does this by reducing the amount of sebum which is being produced. This product is able to target blemishes and help eradicate them, without actually disrupting the skin's overall delicate moisture balance. With the deeply purifying herbal blend of ingredients in this serum, it effectively helps to prevent blocked pores and leaves the skin smooth, clear and without shine.

For a moisturiser which is ideal for youthful skin in its teens and 20s, the ARK Skincare ageprotect skin vitality moisturiser is a sure winner. I know that it can be difficult to find a moisturiser which provides the right level of hydration for day-to-day use - one that doesn't make the skin too oily, as well as one that doesn't actually provide enough hydration, so that the skin becomes rough and dry. This cream promises to give the skin the balance that it needs, as it contains active anti-pollution system and is also rich in antioxidants which of course help to combat the harmful effects of daily environmental influences which our skin is faced with.
The fatty acids and lipids which make this so nourishing include avocado and peach , both of which are high in vitamins A, E and C. The Omega 9 fatty acids which are in this cream also help to make the skin look and feel supple and perfectly softened.
