Botanical Beauty Bliss with 'Tropic Skincare'

I love trying out new skincare brands. If you're a regular reader on Coconut Couture then you'll have seen that I am particularly fond of those companies who can deliver sustainable, natural products which nourish skin with essential oils, extracts and basically all things naturally sourced. It's better for the planet. It's better for you. I was first introduced to Tropic skincare by my mum, who told me about the brand and the natural wonders which they create in their Surrey based beauty kitchen by a specialist team of beauty chefs. Their products are carefully balanced and enriched with the most nutritious botanical actives found in tropical climates. Their ethos and motto is simply that they believe in 'good for you' and they believe skincare should be pure, honest and effective. Concise and to the point, yet that is exactly what we need when it comes to the products which we use everyday on our face and body. Why use chemicals on your skin unnecessarily? Much like diet, it's essential to nourish your skin. It needs the double whammy, nutrition from the inside out and the outside in and that's where Tropic Skincare steps in. They are revolutionising the skincare and beauty market and want to promote the message of a #GreenBeautyRevolution. Set up by Susie Ma who was inspired by the natural beauty, plants and botanical actives which she saw around her in Cairns, Tropical North Queensland in Australia where she was brought up, this inspired her love of developing natural beauty recipes and was the foundation of many of Tropic's skincare formulations today.

I've been trying the Smoothing Cleanser complexion purifier with a bamboo cloth and their Clear Skin blemish fighting mask. The Smoothing Cleanser is made from uplifting eucalyptus, golden jojoba and avocado oils. This oh so refreshing cleanser melts away make-up and impurities leaving skin silky soft and visibly clearer. The sustainable bamboo fibre face cloth is also naturally anti-bacterial, so that helps to ensure the complexion is looking in tip top condition too! It also happens to be Tropic Skincare's best selling product, no surprise given that it is full of revitalising, skin energising goodness!

How to use
Massage 2 - 4 pumps onto dry skin over your eyes, face and neck to remove any impurities and stimulate circulation. Rinse off with warm water. If you're wearing make-up, apply another 1 - 2 pumps. Finally, rinse your Bamboo Cloth in warm water, and wipe away cleanser and any excess make-up.

You can use it morning and night!

They never test on animals or use any animal related products like beeswax or honey, so they're 100% cruelty-free and suitable for vegans.

The award winning Clear Skin blemish fighting mask is wonderful and it truly smells amazing. Made with willow bark and ginger extracts which kill bacteria, green clay and spirulina which draw out toxins and tighten pores and charcoal and goji berry extracts which reduce redness and clam the skin, this is a skincare dream in a tub! It has a clean yet delicious aroma and also it's a fabulous shade of green! They say you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover but this mask looks like it has powerful anti-oxidant properties and it really does!

How To Use
Apply an even layer to your face twice a week, avoiding the delicate eye area. Leave for 10 - 20 minutes or until it is dry and rinse for beautifully clear skin. This mask is also really effective on individual stubborn blemishes.

I am loving these products and also the message behind the brand. What are your go-to skincare essentials at the moment? Let me know! Bilgi  x
