Spotlight on Vegan Beauty: 'Noughty Haircare' Review

Vegan beauty has taken the industry by storm. Kind to the planet and full of natural essential oils and plant-based goodness, it's a win win situation! I've been trying out 'Noughty Haircare', whose products are 97% natural and they promise their products are excellent for restoring your tresses back to their original shiny appearance, ready for the next round of mischief! I've been using their most hydrating and nourishing products as over the summer months, with all of the UV sun exposure and pool water / sea water that hair gets subjected to, it really benefits from a hit of proper TLC. From the To The Rescue anti-frizz serum and intensive moisture treatment, leave-in conditioner and Colour Bomb protecting shampoo, I've tried the works and this is the low down on how they all work.

I love the Intensive Care leave-in conditioner from Noughty Haircare. Firstly, it smells literally AMAZING as it is enriched with sweet almond and argan oil. Ideal for frizzy or damaged hair that is need of repair, the super-quenching oils help hair feel stronger for longer. I added this to my hair after towel drying it and from the mid-lengths to the tips and once dried, it feels lusciously smooth and silky soft. The anti-frizz serum works the same but can also be added to dry hair if you want to gently tame and 'flyaways' and create a sleeker look in an instant. Oh and it also smells good enough to eat as the sweet almond oil has a oh so dessert-like aroma!

I have always been a fan of a deep nourishment haircare product. Yes conditioner works well but sometimes you've just got to have some real hair TLC and a hair mask like this really does work wonders for your tresses. It is a richer and more condensed than conditioner and is a great haircare routine addition used every fortnight I'd say. It contains the active ingredients of black oat, which is great for improving hair structure making it more manageable and improving gloss, lecithin and plant oils all of which help to nourish and revitalise hair so it looks and feels its very best. For the optimum results, it's best to comb it through your hair and then leave it to absorb for 3-5 minutes. If you want a really hydrating hit, then you can leave it for up to 20 minutes before rinsing it off. Shop the 'To The Rescue Intense Moisture Treatment' online.

"So good it's Noughty"... the Intensive Care and To The Rescue products are perfect for those needing a moisture injection to re-vamp their hair and bring life back to it.

The Colour Bomb shampoo is enriched with anti-oxidant rich rooibos and sunflower oil and is ideal for protecting hair which has colour added to it; it promises to enhance any shade in the spectrum. If your hair has been exposed to the elements over the summer, this is certainly a winning formula plus it smells really clean and fresh, yet subtly sweet and delicious at the same time.
