A Summer's Day in Whitby, North Yorkshire

Last week I went to Whitby to see the sights of North Yorkshire in all its splendour. A quintessential coastal town which has been a hotspot for those fancying a 'staycation' over the years, we headed over on a lovely summer's day to enjoy the historic architecture of the abbey, climb the famous 199 Steps as well as meander along the beach and down the quaint, olde-worlde streets which add the undeniable charm and character to the town. Also, it is well worth noting that some of the best pasties ever can be found in Whitby. I tried a spicy Mediterranean vegetable vegan pasty which was very good, would recommend! These are some snaps from our day.
